Vuonue- Tilta undyed

Tilta is a multi-purpose wool yarn that is suitable for all kinds of handicrafts, such as sweaters, mittens, hats, scarves and weaving shawls. The felting property of the yarn can be exploited, as the yarn felts in a beautifully even and soft way.

No chemical treatments (dyeing, machine wash resistance, moth protection) have been used in the manufacturing of this yarn so its warmth and moisture absorption are preserved. The yarn is gently washed, so there is natural lanolin left in it. It has a nice sheepy smell and a great rustic feeling. It is a hard-wearing yarn useful for outwears and home accessories. The Finnish wool can be a bit hard to the touch, but it softens by every wash and is very durable.
