Hillesvåg ullvarefabrikk- Luna Lamb Yarn
Luna lamb wool yarn is a soft and resilient yarn, which is spun from Norwegian lamb wool C1 Fine (28 micron). This means that only the finest fibers from Norwegian white sheep can be used in the production of Luna wool yarn. Wool from the sheep is Swan-labelled and has great resilience. This makes this fiber suitable for airy, soft and light carding yarns.
Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk has placed an increased environmental focus on the use of dyes in our production. Only GOTS-approved dyes have been used in color range for Luna yarn. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) means the dyes are biodegradable and non-toxic. The finished product does not contain allergens or residues of dangerous chemicals. GOTS-approved dye is permitted in the organic production of yarn and textiles.
